Product description:
Short-term regional weather forecasts, produced by SERVIR, using the PSU/NCAR Mesoscale Model, known as MM5 in the atmospheric sciences community. The MM5 model generates 48 hour-forecasts once a day. Soil temperature, 2 m surface temperature, 3 hour accumulated precipitation as an early warning, wind in different heights, and other variables are forecast hourly in 9 km grids covering the Yucatan Peninsula to northwest Panama.
