Created:
Thu Dec 05 00:00:00 GMT 2013
Detailed information
Product description:
The Vegetation Productivity Indicator (VPI) is a categorical type of difference vegetation index, whereby the actual NDVI is referenced against the NDVI percentiles of the historical year. The VPI is typically used to assess overall vegetation condition and to identify areas with below normal vegetation development, possibly linked to low agricultural productivity, as compared to what can be expected based on the historical range. Furthermore, VPI can also be used to identify drought affected areas
