Detailed information
Product description:
Forecasts of pollutant plume dispersion into the atmosphere. Forecasts cover a global area for a period ranging from 0hour to 94hours starting from the moment of the atmospheric release. The time step is 6 hours, on a regular 0.5degree x 0.5degree grid. The forecasts are based on the MOCAGE-ACCIDENT model which is a specific version of the atmospheric dispersion model MOCAGE (Model of Atmospheric Chemistry of Large Scale) developed at Météo-France by CNRM. Meteorological forcing is provided by the ARPEGE data or the IFS data. The produced fields deal with concentration, time-integrated concentrations and deposits fields. Available data format for outputs are GRIB Edition2, PNG, KMZ and Shape File. Data access is restricted to institutional authorities.
