Product description:	This is the field peak wave period, forecast, at surface, at area global, at forecast time-step 12 hours. It is produced by ECMWF High Resolution Wave Model (HRES-WAM) which runs twice a day (00 and 12 UTC). It is coupled to the atmospheric model (HRES). The sea state is described by the two-dimensional wave spectrum. The field is defined in a 0.5X0.5 latitude/longitude degree grid. It is distributed under 'WMO Additional' policy. This field is encoded in GRIB 2 and can be found in binary files with filenames like 'HXXC88ECMF030000_C_ECMF_20180703000000_12h_pp1d_global_0p5deg_grib2.bin'
